Why do they do the alcohol swab before the lethal injection?

I'm just wondering. I mean it's not like they're going to get an infection from the needle..they're going to die in a few minutes, so why do they do the alcohol swab? Is it just a habit? They don't even know? It just seems redundant to me. Anyway, does anybody know?

LOL! Good question!!!! It probably is just out of habit. Why are there locks on the doors of supermarkets that are open 24hrs??? I guess we could come up with a lot of questions like this!!!!

Why transfer them to another prison when they were already in one? That doesn't make sense either..but I dunno..maybe they use them as lab rats? But then again, why keep it secret? Plenty of people'd probably support them, AND they'd cut down on crime in the process.. You may have somethin' though, who knows right? And lmao, kye that's another good question..maybe they have the locks just in case they HAVE to close?

Oh I like that conspiracy theory - It would be nice to think they are lab rats somewhere!

I know what you mean. But you know what? Only in America....just like they have braille at the "drive up" atm, and they children's medicine that says, "don't drive while taking this medication" . I better watch out for all those 5 year olds on the road who have head colds.....LOL God bless ciao for now.

Agreed! They are going to die anyway, so why be clean. Actually it is the humane thing to do, the bad guy or lady is found guilty of murder and we want to treat them so nice before we kill them. Can't figure that out if it is just stupid or not. I look forward to seeing what others have to say about this.
