What does Valentine day mean to you. Do you need a special day when you enjoy everyday.

i dont actually believe in valentines day as it is coined as hearts/love day. love should be celebrated at all times and should not have any other special day for that matter. i dont need a special day either. i live life to the fullest.

Well I do not see any significance of valentines day, as every day is a day of love why anyone needs one special day for it is unthinkable for me. Besides there is too much of commercialisation of the day it is the traders who need this day to increase their earnings not us.

No, in fact it is not special for me. I think it is an american celebrating, and it is more about spending money than about real love. Though I was very surprised, that my boyfriend make the dinner by the time I arrived home, because he has never did it before. And in the morning when he opened his eyes her first words were : "I love you, happy valentine's day" I know that he thinks too, that valentine day is a supidness :) So, it was funny.

I don't do anything special for Valentine's Day. The next day is our anniversary and we usually go out to eat. This year we did nothing as the budget is tight.

I have a few people that I like to give some chocolates or a flower. I remember my mother and sister at the cemetery with red roses - because I miss them so much. I think it is important to remember those you care about every day - not just one day a year. But it is kind of nice to do something special once in a while.
