I love sushi but I only can get it once a month if I'm lucky. Its kind of expensive to go out for sushi often. Sometimes I'll buy refrigerated sushi from the supermarket. It prepared daily and is just as good.

We make sushi at home most Friday evenings but we can't get much of a variety of fish so its usually prawns, tuna and salmon - sometimes mackerel. Otherwise we eat sushi in restaurants about once every two months; we have some reasonably priced places near us but it can be very expensive

That is the way it is here in the states, too. In the community I live in, there used to be a really great Japanese restaurant and I would go there regularly. Now, the only sushi in town is at a Chinese place and it is really just a few types of vegetable sushi....not a wide range. But when I go to the city, I do try to get a meal at a restauant which serves fresh sushi.

I try to eat sushi at every opportunity!! And I agree it is expensive at least I haven't found an inexpensive sushi place - if an Orlando FL people know of inexpensive and GOOD sushi please let me know. We try to hit a hibachi restaruant at least once a month (the hubby get hibachi and I get the sushi).

If sushi were not so expensive, I would want to eat it once a week at least. Honestly, it has so much variety and I love it that much. Otherwise, I would say that I eat it about once a month (from the supermarket) and going out for the good stuff, maybe 3 times a year. I do want to try making my own at home more often, but decent sushi grade fish can be expensive or hard to find.
