could someone please tell me how to choose a best response . i feel a bit silly

i need to change my settings so i can choose a best response but although i have followed instructions i cant seem to change the settings , please help and thanks.

Likewise what Alexandria said, I too don't think there are any settings, you cannot change best response once you have nominated someone. In regards to who deserves best response as your topic question asks, then it's the response which is the most detailed, relevant and informative reply, where a lot of thought has gone into the answer. oh i get it now , thank you both , i feel a bit dim lol.only thing is i might offend people by best responsing.cant win .
