do you allow your children to play with your cellphones? i left my cellphone on the bed, suddenly my four month old baby grab it in his both hands, he looks very happy with it, i guess because of the color red and he is giggling and saying words that i do not understand. and when i get the cellphone, he cried so loud.so i gave it back to him and he stops crying..oh my ... i know it is not safe for him coz of radiation, how about you, do you allow your children to play with it?

I do admit when my son was freaking out in a store, I'd lock the keys and hand my cellphone, easy fix that bit me in the butt. Now when he sees me talking on the cell phone, he'll cry and whine for it. He has fake cellphones, but he knows the difference! I wish I never did that in the first place!

No I don't allow my kids to play with my cellphone. What I did was buy a toy cellphone. So my kids could act like they were talking on the phone. Plus push buttons that made noises. Now they know they don't touch mommys cellphone and we are all happy.

I think that it would be safe for the baby, it's just not safe for the cell phone! The rumors about radiation have been proven wrong, but we all know how much cell phones cost to replace. If it's dropped the wrong way it can be ruined. I got my Goddaughter a few plastic toy cell phones at toysR Us, and she's very happy with them.

I can't let my three year old play with our cellphones we use now, but have given him an old one to play with around the house. Our son has been loving to play with phones since he was crawling. I have a pictures of him with phones at all ages. He loves to call his uncle a lot.

yes, i do allow our 3yr old son to play with our cellphones. He doesn't drop it or something, what i hate about it is he most of time he dials out and before we know it, our pre paid load is gone!!! grrrrr... Another thing is he messes up my phonebook, doesn't erase them though but he recopies each contact thus appearing double in my phonebook and i have to manually delete it and that takes me forever....haaayyy so i have to agree to one of the people here who posted, it is safe for the child to play the cellphone but not safe for cellphones (LOL)

My son plays with my cp, too. When he was a few months old, I woke up to see the top half of my phone in his mouth! had to send the phone out for repair because of that. I do let him play with mommy's cellphone. I tried buying him the toy ones but he didn't like them, even the most colorful ones or the most realistic-looking ones. Somehow he knew they weren't real. Now that he's almost 2, he usually just uses my phone to pretend to talk to someone and look the at pictures and videos.

I guess not good as you have said "the radiation".You better buy him a cellphone toy which has different sounds!Im sure, your baby will appreciate and enjoy it!The same time it wont affect any danger since its a real toy!

I never let my son play with the real things...no cell phones, remote controls, etc. He only gets the toy ones so he knows what's his and what's Mommy's and Daddy's.
