Money Mad? I have (had) one person who's discussion were about one topic 99% of the time and it was advertising other site to earn money, of course clicking on the link to be one of her referrals. Every day when I would get email advising me of my friends new discussions, there they were multiple times. I got so fed up with her constantly saying how bad myLot was, how mean and nasty we all were, why were people ignoring her discussions. So I decided to be kind??!!?? and answer some of them, following the rules of course and always referring to the topic. Especially when she posted a new discussion saying she was leaving my lot but she loved us all.
I politely responded saying good bye, in a few languages, and wished her luck then forgot about it. Sure enough two days later she was back again bragging about one of her new money making site( all without proof of payment of course). So once again, being the good friend I am, I responded. Imagine my surprise when she PM'd me and told me never to respond to her discussions again and she was removing me from her friends list. I was so brokenhearted I couldn't respond for at least 5 seconds. I will say I think she has helped immeasurably in my quandary of wondering why my star reputation dropped 4% in a week. One of the reasons I accepted her as a friend was because I did think she would be a nice friend as she has an avatar and name that is of a religious nature.
Has anything like this ever happened to you.

So bad of her to treat you like that, after all of the kindness and help that you have given to her. Its a good thing that she is leaving mylot for good. I don't want to be mean but, her actions were really disturbing on my part. I'm so glad that I didn't have a friend like that and hoping that I won't bump into one of her kind. At first, when no one answered my first-ever discussion, I was really sad and very disappointed and really thought that there are no friendly people here in mylot but, I was mistaken. It took awhile though before people realized my existence here in mylot. I've been patient and it did paid off. Now, I'm really having a great time here!(",)

I haven't had anything quite like that. I DID accept a gal whose name I rcognized from another site as a spammer. I sent her a private message stating that i assumed she wouldn't be sending me the things that I had seen her post on this other site. I was trying to give her a chance because we all have to start somewhere with our online ventures. But I have yet to see this gal actually start a discussion or respond to one on this site....fancy that.
Most times you just can't tell alot about someone without taking a chance. It sounds like she felt your goodbye message was a "don't let the screen door hit ya...." goodbyes. She is probably a little paranoid because she vented so thoroughly in her last post and felt a bit exposed by your remembering her. Hard tellin' not knowin'. People have all sorts of unpredictable reactions. I hope you recover from the experience soon. It can be a bit depressing when you don't have the chance to find out what the main problem was or explain how you meant a response.

WOW! Is all I can say. I have not had this happen, but I have been a culprit of a certain someone getting a few of my discussions deleted. Now I do not know this person and he is not on my friends list. He actually has like less than 100 post, but twice now he has had both discussions I made about Dormcheck deleted. I have no idea why other than I did not join under him. I could not join under him because someone else sent me the link like a few hours before and I joined under them. Anyway I decided this guy is out to get me and it really makes me mad, because I see so many other discussions just like mine were with dormcheck. The one I did about Chacha was similar and it is not deleted. He always shows up as the first response when I have dormcheck anywhere in the title and tells me he will have this one deleted. Some people are so bizarre. If anyone want to go to dormcheck here is the url http://www.dormcheck.com/register.php?refer=wmg2006 Maybe he won't get this comment deleted LOL
It is probably a good thing she finally deleted you so you would not have to take the abuse anymore.

no and if it did - I don't think I would be a polite as you- i have noticed people talk a lot about moeny on here- I'm just here to chat- the fact that I make money - it s major plus, but I've grown very fond of the friends I've made here!

Wow that girl must really be a crazy person. She is the one who posts links to other money making sites and she is really crazy about making dollars online. She said she left but for some reason she came back again and then she requested you not to post replies to her thread. She must be a weirdo. You are acting as a good friend to her and she does not want you to post in her topics. Well she is a really bad friend and I hope that such things will never happen to me.

Well, that is one for the books. Is she still here? You think she is sabotageing you? I often wonder why people who are so negative want us to all join in the misery. I have not had anything like that happen. I did have one friend, who on her first day posted "Tell me where else to make money" and then said in a later post "Do not post your links, I will report you!!!!!" I mostly ignore her. Once in awhile she posts something I would care to respond to, but not often.

So far no "money mad" people on my list. If I find one I'll remove that person. I am here for a few bucks, but I'm not obsessed with it. I enjoy meeting people here and communicating. I think it's cool that they are paying me something to do what I do anyway. Mylot keeps me in coffee money.

Your topic could well describe one of my friends on my list. Every time he makes a post he adds his website address to the end of it. Like you I responded to a couple of his discussions, but then I got fed up with him badmouthing myLot. I didn't dare respond to any more of his topics as I was sure they would be removed. He said good bye to all his friends a couple of days ago, and I haven't heard of him since. I think some people have just registered here in order to get referrals for other sites. I am sorry your rating went down and I will give you a plus to help bring it up again.

Yes! They started off really cool and had great discussions, then I reckon they got bored or something and started doing that. Then I have those that just went mad and started posting hateful posts, one posted 21 bad ones in one day! I just delete them when this happens. I hate it, but I don't want my email over loaded with this stuff and I really don't want to be associated with them at that point either.

I don't think I've dealt with this person and I'm thankful for it...lol I don't need friends like that, none of us do. That's just plain rude and uncalled for to treat people that way. I think it must be just another mylot drama queen looking to make a buck at any expense. I would just delete them from my friends list and not bother with them or their posts. But how fortunate for you that she deleted you first. Now at least she can't pm you...lol
I hope mylot figures out a way to catch these jerks that go around passing out - ratings to everyone they get mad at. I think they will soon.

I agree with you. But it would be hard for mylot to figure this out. Not impossible but hard. Getting mad does not justify a negative rating. They are jerks in the worst way. They effect the members ratings.

Hmm..I do have a big problem with that. I will only put link referrals in my account profile or whenever I write articles for other sites, I'll post an article title such as that. I will never spam though because that's what it is!
If someone wants to offer us a place with online earnings, I'm all for it but if it turns out to be spam, there's no way I'll be a part of it. Someone posted here once a donkeymails.com site and I'm getting flooded with spam mail in my inbox. It goes to my regular inbox also, not my Bulk. Very aggravating.

It sounds like she was here for only money. I come here to enjoy the discussions and responses that go on. I also like the money but it is not the only reason I come here. It was not right of her to have your star go down in rating. I don't mark any body a negative rating just for disagreeing with me. We all have our own opinion which is just that. I have not had that happen to me. Thank goodness.

I guess I have some of them on my list, but i don't pay attention to them. As long as they don't annoy me in sending messages about their money-making sites, I leave them be.
What she did to you was a very false move, she should've minded her own business as well and stayed on her own discussions. you are right on what you did to her, I think she deserves it after all the nasty things she said about you.
For me, I'll take this as a lesson for all of us when dealing to adding some of our friends, here ain mylot.

I have not had any experience like this before, and I hope I wouldn't have to experience this.:(
Our hearts are too fragile to deal with this such thing.
Anyhow, try to enjoy your time here in MyLot, and don't take too much bad things to your heart.

I haven't had that particular experience, I did have someone private message me about a response I left because we didn't have the same opinion and she is in my friend list. She didn't delete me and I didn't delete her I have even responded in a few more of her discussions, but she hasn't been back to any of mine. Giving her the benefit of the doubt that my topics since haven't interested her. :) Everyone is intitled to have a difference of opinion, so long as it's done tactfully. Nothing wrong with sarcasticness either.
I think that bad mouthing mylot here is wrong, your an invited guest as I saw one person put it. I hope that this hasn't gotten you to upset, as their are many nice people here. Good luck!

Well known of my main friends which i visit are interested in the earning side of the site. they like it but they don't post about it all the time and i've hardly noticed any of them mention it at all.
There are a few who post discussion like "i want to earn fast" oh well.
I personally accept it because aslong as they are friendly i see no point. i won't have time to talk to 'em all via private message but i do visit there discusssions i like.
