hi, the best way is to learn from real time teaching that is by classroom course ,for some reason if u can't do that then you should opt for a correspondecne course which provide you lots of audio visual CD's ,if u r an indian you should contact maxmuller bhawan new delhi for further info.otherwise lot of sites are also aviailable for teaching ,try to search them.

Best way to learn is to join a course conducted by that particular country's institute viz.,
Max Mueller Bhavan for German Language
Alliance Francaise for French
