Bio-Fresh stamp card...have you seen this yet?

On the lush website, there is a bio-fresh stamp card that you can use to get one free after you buy five in the stores. I have never tried a bio-fresh before, but this definitely gives me incentive to try one now. you need to click on the fresh faces on the homepage of the site to find the punch card, which is in a pdf file. so...what are you favorite bio-fresh masks then, since now I think I'm going to try one (or four). (also...can you freeze them, so they don't expire as fast?)

I've kept BioFresh up to three months after I bought them, and none have ever turned on me (I hear Cupcake is the hardiest), so I wouldn't worry about them turning. Plus, with this promo, it makes you just want to put on a mask every night. Heh heh. Not sure if that's good for your skin, though? Anyway, after I saw this promo, I wanted to hop on the metro and walk to the Georgetown Lush IMMEDIATELY! lol!

I find The Sacred Truth can last 3 months or more, and that has eggs in it. so you'd know if it was off. BUT. use them as quickly as possible. older masks won't be as effective. what is so beautiful about the bio fresh is just how fresh it is. its sent out to the shops as soon as its been made. all those lovely fresh, lively enzymes on your skin.

I saw this on the website too. I am not so sure if I will use it though. I only buy bio-fresh as a special treat. I don't like to use bio-fresh that far after the expiration date. I usually end up tossing about half of the mask away. (That is why I usually use Mask of Magnaminty which has a longer shelf life.) I have read on the forum that you aren't suppose to freeze the masks (someone from Manufacturing wrote in about it). I know that a couple of the masks have fresh eggs in them. I wouldn't suggest using one of these past their expiration date. Did anyone get excited thinking that they were going to sell the masks online? I was disappointed to find out that they were just advertsing the masks and not selling them on the website.

I just saw them and was kind of excited about it. Depending on the price I might get a couple when I'm in California next weekend. There are a couple I'm excited about. I'm going to a party - so I have to spend $35 for the goodie bag... might as well get something new and interesting I can't get online.

Have fun at the party, Withoutwings! I'm thinking of stopping by my lush tomorrow, too...I think there's a jelly and buttercream party going on with a 70s theme.

I just bought a pot of catastrophe cosmetic before the promo :( It would probably take me a whole year to get my free one, I only get into the store once a month or so. I do tend to use mine at least a week past the best before date, usually by then I use them up. These are my faves though: Catastrophe cosmetic- the blueberries really seem to help calm redness and make my skin feel nice BB Seaweed- I like that it exfoliates as I rinse it off, and the seaweed moisturizes my skin nicely I have pretty much tried all the masks once except brazened honey, it always sells out fast, but with this promo hopefully I'll be able to try it once!

The masks cost between $8-10. Before the price hike, I have purchased Catastrophe and Cupcake for $8.95 each.

That is a good idea. I actually had a dream about Bio-fresh face masks last night. Don't ask me why. I must have had Lush on the brain (since I got my Darling Buds swapee!). Anyway, as someone mentioned before, you shouldn't freeze them. I also agree with YuhMin. I have had masks last much longer than 1 week. The instructions are to throw them away when they start to look "off." It usually takes much longer than just 1 week until that starts to happen. I've use Love Lettuce, Cosmetic Warrior, Cupcake, and Catastrophe Cosmetic. Love Lettuce is nice because it has scrubby bits. Cupcake I did NOT like- felt like it was burning my face. But it did smell good. My favorite I think is the blueberry one (Catastrope?). That kept my face nice and blemish free, without redness.

I saw this last night and posted in the biofresh thread here... looks like a great deal... as for the freezing - ihear you ARE NOT supposed to freeze biofresh because it kills all of the enzymes which are the reason biofresh work!

The discussion is about Lush (lush.com) and the fresh face masks that they make and sell. They're currently doing a promo that when you get several stamps you get a free mask. It's a great idea as they're quite expensive and you can only keep them for a few weeks because the ingredients are so fresh. I hope this explains it better to you, I'm afraid I can't explain it any other way :)

I've tried out Brazened Honey and the smell is gorgeous. I also find it works well on my skin and leaves it incredibly soft.

I got one, I stuck it in my fridge when I got home. I used it three times, then forgot about it. :( Of course when I opened it again, even though it smelled good I was scared to use it. I don't think I'll be buying on again simply because I'm abscent minded. lol
