Gives up if the situation will be against you?

Do you consider your self as a person that easily gives up if the situation will be against you? Are you the type of person that easily give up a thing a person or a project if circumstances will be against you or you treat it as a challenge? Can you give any example of this situation.

I love challenges in life and usually stick to a problematic solution until and unless I find a way to solve it. My parents were against my doing Ph.D it was taking a long time, but I convinced them and completed it.

That is a very good habbit and you always be in a positive way if your attitude is like that. I also like people who always take it a challenge when problems arises. Thanks for your response.
