Since I turned 18 and started working, I've had several different jobs: waitress, hula dancer, boat crew member, bus dispatcher, retail sales, ER/hospital admissions clerk, and currently stay-at-home mom. I can definitely say that my current job has been my favorite and the most rewarding so far. How many career/job changes have you gone through in your life? Which has been your favorite job so far?

There used to be a tv show on a long time ago, called "I Led Three Lives." I think of my life that way sometimes. For the first years after college, I was a housewife and mother. When I did go to work I worked at several different jobs before I became a US government employee, working for the Veterans Administration is an administrative position. I did that for 15 years. Then I went back to college and got a degree in Psychology and became a Mental Health Counselor for 13 years. Now I am retired. I liked my job at the VA, but I felt like I was helping people as a counselor. I love being retired!

i've worked with 3 agencies prior to my present occupation. i've learned a lot from these agencies i've worked with. they weren't always wonderful experiences, nevertheless, i was able to develop and hone my writing skills, and learned not to be too trusting to people, especially your boss, lol!
