A flying-car-style rescue vehicle called X-Hawk could be on the market as early as 2012. If it's successful, it could be the proof-of-concept that opens the doors to other flying cars. Are we on the brink of the "flying car"? greetings. : )

Technology is growing so fast, I really think it is very possible. Can you imagine flying in a car and havuing traffic signals in the sky LOL? We would no longer need airplanes either it seems to me. Could you imagine if people crashed and landed on our houses? I don't think a flying car is a good idea at all. I think it is much safer to drive on solid ground.

I don't know about the brand names but I watched a programme on CNN in december'06.The panel consisted of some of the best scientists from the aviation industry and visionaries.I can't say they were unanimously voicing that we'd soon be having traffic jams in air instead of roads but all of them were upbeat about the possibility of flying in cars in future and some were euphoric about it happening sooner than we would like to dare plan traffic policing in air.Who knows, all those videogames might come to life sooner than we dreamt . I was reading your discussions and liked most of the topics. Can I add you as a friend?
