Not sure about dingos but I know it's illegal in some states to own a wolf or wolf hybrid cause it's a wild animal. Wolves are unpredictable and can turn on anyone/thing in a heartbeat.

Are you sure its a Dingo, where did they get it from ? You can have a Dingo but you MUST have a special liscence to do so from National Parks and Wildlife, considering the situation in how you came to get this dog.

Hardly a wolf anymore, but a tame domesticated Hus - This is a female Husky. They look like wolves, but are smaller, and safer to own as pets.
You need to check your local laws. I know in the US, wolves and wolf hybrids are illegal, because these are wild animals and not domesticated. It's dangerous because they may NOT be trainable. Their isntincts are strong and it may not be safe to keep them as a pet. The same is probably true for a dingo, but check the laws in your area to see if it's even legal.
