What is your favorite sabbat and how do you celebrate it with your family? My favorite sabbat is Yule and Midsummer. Every Yule we have a feast, offer thanks to the Goddess, have a couple of games and exchange of presents. For Midsummer,my family would go on a picnic to celebrate.

My favourite would have to be Samhain...I've always loved Hallowe'en as a kid, so I suppose the interests followed. I usually do a general 'respect' type of ritual, along with a standardized sabbat/esbat ritual. I also enjoy Litha, which my friends and I are going down to Salem to celebrate this year!! I CANNOT wait!!! It's this massive thing each year, they usually go for Yule as well, but we shall see where everyone is by December I suppose...LOL

How amazing to find a Philippine Wicca follower.... it's really great! I know that Philippines is a very Christian country, like Italia, the country in which I live. Well, once I always celebrated sabbats with my friends, but now that my son is so young I have no time to go in a far town to celebrate them like once. I remember a Beltane particularly gorgeous, we did really a beautiful celebration, we were a lot of people and everything was very good.

In truth I love them all..though if I had to pick favorites it'd probably be Ostara and Midsummer's..even though Samhain's probably the most meaningful to me personally. My family and I usually don't celebrate together..heh, I almost wish we did. Ostara's always so jayous..planting starts, chores outside..the spring rains start..which I love so much. Spring cleaning kinda turns into a kind of party for me. I usually write songs lol as my main thing, to honor the Goddess and celebrate her about to give lfe back to our earth again..it's kind of an reawakening time, every year I do something different. ^_^ But it's one of the few sabbats I can celebrate with my best friend -- even though she's not pagan or anything, she loves the vernal equinox and celebrates it every year. Midsummer I usually go camping..to get closer to nature. I'll go for a walk in the forest..and just talk to it, feel the energy to it. Imagining the wild hunt lol. I'll start a campfire..make and bring snacks..and it's one of the few times I'll dance.. I suppose every sabbat and esbat's a party for me..I don't go part way in the celebrating lol.

My favourite sabbat would be Lughnasah because it happens to be my birthday too :D The celebration of Lughnasah begins at sunset and I was born at sunset too so I guess I always think of Lughnasah as a special day for me. The first thing I always do when I wake up that day would be singing "Happy Birthday To Me" LOL
