How do you feel bout companies outsourcing their call centers in d philippines?

Most American companies are outsourcing their customer service here in the Philippines and also in India. These call centers cater to american and australian customers and other nationalities who inquire about their phone bill, credit card bill, sales and promotions and other stuff. This question goes for everyone... how do you feel about this? How do you find the service of Filipino representatives and Indian representatvies?

i totally agree with the response...ive been working as a csr and we're getting like 180 calls in 2 hours,,,yes two hours!!and i really dont think we're being paid according to our work..it sucks to realize that and you cant do anything about it coz you need job..

As long as the company continues to pay an appropriate salary i would have no problem with it, but my problem is that they don't, they tend to pay these "outsource" workers pennies on the dollar.

I agree with HolyMosesMalone. These call centers just pay pennies compared to the thousands of dollars they're getting.
