Store-bought puddings are too sweet. I would like to make homemade pudding for my 1 year old son. Can anyone please suggest a practical recipe? Im not exactly a whiz in the kitchen, but I enjoy the experience of cooking for the family. Thanks!

you can actually make pudding from old bread. Just cut them in small pieces, cover with mixed evaporated and condensed milk (3:1 ratio) Put sugar in baking pan (brown) Heat it until you have the bottom covered.Put in pans the bread mixture. Steam/bake.enjoy

this is such an easy one that after 3 years your one year will make it for you :) 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 tbsp corn starch pinch of salt 2 cups whole milk 1 large egg 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips Four 6-ounce ramekins or custard cups whisk together the sugar , cocoa powder, cornstarch and salt, in a heavy 2-quart saucepan. gradually whisk in the milk. bring to a boil, whisking constasntly, and boil, whisking, until pudding is thick, about 3-5 min.remove from heat. Immediately beat the egg lightly in a medium , heat proof bowl , such as a hard plastic or a ceramic mixing bowl.very gradually add the hot chocolate mixture to the egg. whisking cocntantly. Whisk in the chocolate chips until they are melted and the mixture is smooth.Pour the pudding into the ramekins or cups.if u want cover the surface of each of the pudding and refrigerate for 2 hours .
