I use too enter jams, sauce's, cakes and biscuits in the country shows at a neighbouring town, but as there are so many people entering and its always the same people. I tend to find the same people win over and over again. I do get alot of points and normally come in 3rd. However when it comes to craft. I used to put my knitting and crochetting in the show at the last town I lived in (they only had food comp's for the kids), they litterally banned me for 5 years, so other people could have a chance at winning lol.... Although I was a little upset, like my first paragraph, I could understand why. Now when it comes to my son, he always win's the Best decorated Cake and lego design. And the lucky bugger has done so for the last 5 years.

I've entered arts and crafts lots of times in the state fair and once I entered tomatoes. I would like to baked goods though. I love checking out the cakes and foods entered at the fair when I'm there.
