I have been allergic to chocolate as long as I can remember, if I have a little bit it just makes my lips and face itch. I even break out in little tiny bumps on my upper lip for a few hours to a day. If I keep eating it my whole face begins to itch and pops up this rash of little tiny bumps. If I keep eating it I will break out in hives all over my body. But it is soooooo good. It is hard to resist sometimes. Does anyone have any alternatives? That taste good of course.

Hi Sharone, I am allergic to chocolate as well. I'm lucky though since I don't like chocolate; though that could be because i'm allergic? :) As the little bald dude suggested, carob is a subsitute and you really can't tell the difference in taste. Also you can make choco chip cookies with the "fake" choco chips sold in the bakery isle of the super market. Most of them are fake in fact, just check the package for "made with real chocolate" etc. If it doesn't say it, it's fake, and therefore safe to eat. I hope this helps, good luck with standing up to temptation! ::sending will power::

Well if you think about it chocolate is not the only tasty food or snack you got chips and lollies or maybe milk/white chocolate? but theres many other options instead of chocolate
