Just wondering why people act like zombies in the waiting room (I know because they are sick). But I was there this morning with my bub talking and playing with him, one elderly lady smiled a few times and the rest gave me weird looks, like its taboo to talk in the waiting room. I dont give a s***, its hard enough to ask for a bub to sit there and be quiet, so whats so wrong in keeping them occupied. Is there an unwritten law saying you cant keep your baby happy.

As far as I am concerned, you kept him from crying. I would much rather hear you talking to him and keeping him happy, than to hear him cry. I suppose some people do not think about that. I am sure they don't want to hear any noise, because they are sick, but I bet they would not want to hear him get loud.

Of course, But I just got this overwhelming feeling that they were shunning me for being affectionate.
