Is it me or have regular Cadbury Cream Eggs gotten smaller? I bought some the other day and they seemed smaller than normal. It that because I am bigger now. I know when you are a kid everything seems big, but I really think the eggs have gotten smaller over time. what do you say?

Everything has gotten smaller and more expensive. It's getting rediculous. I use to love the eggs. It was my favorite thing that my dad would always bring me home. I just got one for myself last week. Needed to self indulge. LOL

So you agree? That is good. I thought maybe I was going crazy. And yes, they have gotten more expensive as well.

Nope not today anyway. LOL. But they are still very good. Just less to enjoy.

I don't think so. When I was younger they went down a size but I haven't had any for awhile and if they have it doesn't appear like it. at least to me =) I love the mini eggs though.. now they're small ~Joey

I can't wait for Cadbury eggs to come out again. Usually I start seeing them around Feb.

They're not always on the shelfs? I'd think people here would hate them to be taken away.. :S ~Joey

it is just that things that you favored while young has considerably changed while eating or doing ir alone... Try sharing it with a group of your childhood friends... it could bring equal if not more satisfaction..

No...they have definitely decreased in size. I just bought some for my daughter she loves those eggs. She mentioned to me they were smaller...either they were smaller or she just wanted me to buy more. LOL

I definitely agree that they have gotten smaller...but then again, I agree that it may be because I am bigger now..lol. It just seems like there's never enough of that yummy cream egg filling to have just one!

Definitely smaller, Still good, but so much better when they were bigger. My favorite candy of all time. They even sell them on Ebay!

They may be following the normal trend: the price goes up while the quantity goes down. Could not say specifically about the Cadbury's though, since I am not a big fan.

They have gotten smaller, and the price has gotten bigger. But, still as good as ever.

Ok, so I just bought some last night and I have to say that they are DEFINITELY smaller! I'm so disappointed. And $5 for two little eggs? That's outrageous!! Ugh. Major disappointment. Of course, I still purchased like 4 of them because I love them so much.

These are my sons favorite EAster candy. he is twenty nine so I have been buying them for many years. One year there was a shortage and my sister found some near her and sent them to me for his basket. They have certainly gotten smaller over the years. There is a new flavor this year it is an orange cream.

No, I think they have gotten smaller too. It's there way of sticking it to us and making more money for less product.

I havent eaten them in years as went off them in my early 20s but yes they have definitely got smaller since then. If you compare them to the mini ones the size ratio has changed. Either that or the mini ones are now bigger.

I don't know. We usually have these every year at Easter and they don't seem to be any smaller to me. I haven't had any this year, yet, so I don't know if they're any smaller this year. Then again, maybe having them every year, you don't really notice if they've gradually gotten smaller over time? Oh, who knows. I love those things, though and now I want one! Thanks! haha

Creme Eggs - Cadbury Creme Eggs -- my favorite Easter candy!
Oooo -- I LOVE creme eggs!!! Unquestionably my favorite seasonal candy. I don't think I've noticed a change in size, but I really wouldn't be surprised. Seems like everybody's cutting corners these days. Oh well, I'll just have to buy more of them! XD

I haven't bought any yet this year.... I'll have to check it out to see. It wouldn't surprise me though... it always upsets me when I see a favorite food that is now in a smaller packaging.... I mean, I don't want the price to increase, but it's almost like they are trying to fool you into thinking it's the same thing...

The eggs probably got smaller because they said there were a certain amount of calories and fat in them and oops, that's not true so we'll make them smaller so it really is true. That's what they do with food sometimes.

I thought that too, but thought that because I don't eat them any more I just assumed that it was me not noticing them enough. Or maybe they just seemed bigger when I was a child.

I would also agree with the eggs getting smaller. My Boyfriend LOVES them so he is pretty up on the happenings in the Cadbury egg world. When he bought some the other day I commented that they seemed smaller, and he said they have been like that for a little while now. There are also 2 or 3 differnt flavors now. He's a purist though, he only likes the creme eggs. I actually like the mini eggs (the candy coated ones in the purple bag) better than the creme eggs.
