its similar to the post of rachel , and I need to know you more specially you parents out here most specially those parents who has children with disabilities. I hope we can support each other as mylot member also those who work for cperson with disabilities are very much welcome.
I am leng have 5 kids my youngest is Jerald a 4 year old blind kid. am active member of parents advocate for visually impaired children.
I love doing community service, surfing the net, making friends and cooking
I am an active member of our church
I am happily married for almost 18 years now
a graduate of Bachelor of science in tourism

Hi, I am not a parent of a special needs child, but I have worked as support staff within the school system, driving bus and working in classrooms for over twenty years. I also recently started working in a community living situation for adults with disabilities. I went to college with a blind friend, and that is who I trust to repair my appliances. We are also members of the same church. He does nursery work, and also sound board for us. Great guy. I have lots of opinions about ability, and disability.

Im a mother of 2 children (one boy, one girl) and step mother to another two daughters one of which has a daughter of her own.
My youngest child, son, has ADHD and possibly autism and OCD.
I've studied Social Welfare, but have never takin up that career wise.
Im addicted to coffee, collecting video's, coffee perculators, cook books. And Im always cooking, knitting, doing the housework and knitting or doing some other craft when Im not feeding or chasing the animals on the farm.
