Revelation is about the future events that concerns the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. It describes the judgement of sinners and the salvation of people who trusted their lives to Jesus Christ. It sounds scarry, but things written there will come to pass and we have to prepare of its coming. But on the later part of this book is the promise of a new heaven and new earth, this promised reward to those who devoted their time to God's work. How about you what's your favorite book in the Bible, can you share it to us?

The Old Testament is my favorite book in the Bible. God manifest himself through its pages while you read its histories. The Jews also having this book shows firmness and steadfastness in its religion. What i can understand why Christian had adapted the old Babylonian Religion. specially the catholics. if one person can hold the old babylonian religion to his right hand and modern catholism in his left to compare the two. i doubt one could see big differences.

All the books in the Bible are inspired by God and they are all important in our Christian growth. But I have one favorite book, the Gospel of John. It is one of the fours gospels written by John , one of the twelve disciple of Jesus. The book is filled with first hand accounts of experiences with Jesus Christ that occurred during Christ's 33 years of life on earth. 'The Gospel of John presents many important lessons in life. First, the book clearly establishes that Jesus Christ is the Jewish Messiah that was prophesized in the Old Testament of the Bible. Second, the book substantiates the purpose of Jesus Christ and the reason He was sent to earth by God. In addition, the Gospel of John distinguishes itself from the other gospels by focusing less on events and more on spiritual themes. Lastly, there is a clear message in the Gospel of John that helps us understand the truth about God, the truth about eternity, and the truth about making a choice to accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior.' http://www.allaboutjesuschrist.org/Gospel-Of-John.htm

Yes that very true, the first time I read it I doubted if I could continue reading the fearfull words about the end of the world, but the promise of God is something that will come to pass and I was comforted in the end.
