Do you ever see identical discussions on other sites?

Today I've seen a couple of discussions on here that are completely identical to some on another site I look at. I'm not just talking about the subject but identical right down to punctuation and spelling mistakes. The only conclusion I can come to is that someone is putting the same discussion up on more than 1 site. I wasn't consciously looking for this it was just something I read today triggered my "I've seen this before" response so I went looking at the other site and sure enough there it was. Has this happened to anyone else? What do you think of posting the same thing on more than 1 site?

No I have seen idenical discussions but I have seen similars discussions. How many have you seen that were alike? I wonder if mylots have discovered this? I don't know what I think aboiut posting the same thing on mutiple sites. Sometimes I look at other forums to get ideas on what others are talking about. But I have never personaly wrote the same post that they did. Have a good day.

There is nothing in the guidelines that says myLot has exclusive rights to what you write here. If a person writes for more than one site and it is a topic that they feel strongly about and are trying to get the word out to as many people as possible; that is a good way to do it as long as they do NOT give up their copyrights to one of the sites. However, if it is NOT the same person doing the writing; that is plagiarism. If caught, plagiarism can get a person BANNED from most sites and depending on the extent, intent, and how they get caught; they can be SUED in a court of LAW!

I think that I have seen this before from the other site I used to visit frequently. I don't really think anything of it, if it's the same person. Maybe they want to get more responses to the subject at hand. but to take someone else's post down to the spelling errors, is just plain wrong !!
