Is it long or short?

How do you term the average life of 60 years of man. Do you think it is a long time or short period of time. We say 'it is a long life' sometimes and the other times we say 'life is short so enjoy it'. Why do we call life long and short at the same time?

i think that is a short life span. my father is old. he is now 64 years old, yet i still want him to live more more years. if i grow old too, i would want to continue living beyond that age.

My husband just turned 50 last year and he is in very good health so far. He still does things that younger men like to do. I would hate to think that I may lose him at age 60. I hope I can keep him around for another 50 years and I hope he keeps his good health along with it.

Its niether long nor short.Its the correct number of years given to man to fulfill his dreams and plans.
