Hello! I hope someone can help. I have this nagging pain in my left lower side. It's like right above my hipbone. It doesn't hurt constantly but it does hurt quite a bit. On a scale of 1 to 10 it's probably a 5 most of the time. I've been having it for about 5 weeks now. I don't have medical insurance so I can't really afford to go to doc right now. I don't really have any other symptoms to go with it. Now, I have been racking my brain and here are the things I can come up with that might be causing it.... 1. My fat-butt daughter weighs 40lbs at 2 years old and I carry her everywhere, lol. But, I always have, so shouldn't it of started hurting before now? 2. I thought I might have a kidney infection so I have stopped drinking soda for the most part...but it really doesn't seem to be helping any. Now, I have also been having night sweats so maybe it is some other kind of infection....I don't know. I know I probably do need to go to the doctor but I really just can't right now. So, do you have any ideas on what it might be? And how to fix it? Thank you in advance! Have a wonderful day :-) !!!

I can understand your delemma. If I were in your position, I would at least get some advice for a pharmacist, most of whom have had some medical training.

Not sure but if it is a kidney issue try drinking cranberry juice and if you cant stand to drink that then they make them in tablet form. You could have pulled a muscle that can hurt a bit or worse case maybe a hernia? look up hernia's women can get them. I had one in my belly button its called an umbilical hernia, is pretty painful. One thing to look for is to see if you have bruising in that area or a red line that comes from it or around it at all. Hope you feel better soon!
