The first thing I did upon booting up my computer is to check the discussions posted by my friends. Sometimes, I need to rack my brain just to be able to give sensible answers. Oftentimes,I will keep browsing until a discussion that caught my attention. With so many discussions here, Its making me dizzy trying to look for the one I like. Everyone have the right to respond to any discussions here be it related or not to you. Happy posting...

I know that we have the right to respond to any discussion but dont you find this rude when they are asking you not to respond to a certain subject unless you meet their criterias

I think maybe they are doing that to save u time in reading - like if it were a high school or college question- i probably wouldn't want to answer it or relate to it because i'm older. I know i have done it in one of my questions - i think it was for anyone over 40- I didn't mean it to be rude or to exclude anyone i just felt if it may be something a younger person may not be interested in so why not let them know up front, I know i would prefer it. By the way bite me is one of my favorite sayings too.

HAHAHA i wasn't directing my discussion towards you hun. It was just everyone in general. In my opinion i say just let us find out for ourselves, who knows we may have an input that couls earn you money. But if you was doing it out of respect to save us time , then i am not angry. You are a good friend thanks for the reply. If you dont like what i said then BITE ME hahahaha lol

I think it's pretty much a defeat of purpose to tell anyone *not* to respond to your discussions LOL. After all, don't we all wants lots of reponses? I just leave a discussion where someone has told me who can or can't respond. Their loss.

yeah. i think mylot is an open form of communication and should be accomodating to all. however, what if the question is specifically for a type of people -- say ... a gender sensitive question. Maybe just maybe, they are just trying to be protective or whatever ...

Well i just would not put it in the title. im sure when a body got to reading it they would realize they had no opinion and would just go on instead of being insulted from the beginning and told not to reply.

I answer those discussions anyways. Just because I may not fall in to the catorgory they are asking about. It doesn't mean I don't have the experience or have some kind of advice to give. I figure it is their lose. If I skip over their posts.

I think they have the right to do it so, especially if they know that only their kind are the ones who can give/share their own experiences or advice. Just like others here who are mothers, to which most of them I cannot respond to because I have limited knowledge on what they are discussiong about. Maybe just ignore them and skip it, I'm sure there are lot more discussions that we can give our best opinions to..

I say if I want to answer I'm going to anyways-- So go ahead and put your dumb little-- this is for 50 year olds.. LOL I'm still going to answer- Now I try to include everyone- I recently asked how old were your kids-- or you if you have none when they stopped believing in Santa Claus.. So it's best to include everyone! I agree--- Bite me! lol Just answer anyways and tell them you dont fit their demographic. LOL

Yes i think i answered that discussion but i dont think you excluded anyone. Its great to find a way to include evryone. Sometimes we may come up with things that not everyone could answer but we should not write the title of discussion saying do not answer if blah, blah, blah. you know what i mean. Thanks

This is one of the only things which honestly annoyed me. There's quite a few discussion aimed for "mothers" none for both mums and dads. I normally crash this anyway, as i'm proud to be a father who love and wants to be involved with my sons growth. It honestly bugs me because it's as if most father don't care, most aren't counted in things which make them not get involved. Play group. (i go with my wife and son) the room was full of women who looked down there noses at me and i hate to be nasty but i can see why their parents don't go. Kudos ~Joey P.s other examples also annoy me, but i put up with it and crash those i choose to. =)

Yes we can respond if we want. They cant stop us. I think that its rude and causes them to lose some earnings.
