Who Am I?

"I give good advice and common sense. Because of my strength, kings reign in power and rulers make just laws. I love all who love me. Those who search for me shall surely find me. Unending riches, honor, justice and righteousness are mine to distribute. My gifts are better than the purest gold or sterling silver. My paths are those of justice and right. Those who love and follow me are indeed wealthy. I fill their treasuries. The Lord formed me in the beginning, before he created anything else. From ages past, I am. I existed before the earth began. I lived before the oceans were created, before the springs bubbled forth their waters onto the earth; before the mountains and the hills were made. Yes, I was born before God made the earth and fields and the first handfuls of soil." Who am I?... I don't know how this will work as a discussion, but thought I'd try it out. Tell me the answer of who this is, and where it comes from...I just ran across it, so I'll be really impressed if you know! Later......

From Proberbs 8 I believe. 21st verse. to pursue growth. My who am I fill in would be Wisdom. Not sure who else may answer, one who knows the Bible perhaps. Not sure how many are here at this site. Will be interesting to see what the answer is from you!

Since this has been here for a week, and only you 4 have answered, I might as well tell you...the first 2 were correct. It is wisdom...

Yes, the answer is wisdom. I just came across this discussion now. There are so many posts and it's very difficult to find good posts. Thanks for posting this.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 That is probably not what you had in mind, but it is what came to my mind. I am looking to see what the final answer is.
