It is said that we all have that person, the one who got away, the one you always wonder about...what do you think? Do you have one?

Yes, I do believe that there is one person in our lives whom we can refer to as " the one who got away" I have experienced that. I had a guy who was my " M.U." (We had mutual understanding) and he was close to perfect!!! We were so happy with each other but then his parents didn't like me. They sent him to manage their family business...to make the long story short, we didn't have commitment because he didn't believe in Long distance rships. So what I did was to go out with another guy, when in fact, I was still in love with him (Nikko)...And when he found out, he stopped communicating with me cause he thought I was a flirt...and so there, I still think about him at times. It's been 2 years and I still keep on wondering on "what might have been.." sigh...

I have one and I sure am glad that he "got away." I was so inloved with this person for 7 long years.I have closed my doors to other men at that time because I was waiting for this friend of mine to tell me he loves me back, I do his every whim, his every request. He got another girl pregnant, married her then left her for another woman....that is why I sure am glad that he "got away". I occasionally think about him because he owns me a considerable sum of money and wonder if he will ever pay me...O well but I guess that is wishful thinking :)

The one who got a way is the one you really liked but you never or didnt end up with. You knew you both had the chemistry and she is the one who will make you happy but your so chicken to admit it and you let her go. Deep in your heart you are hoping that someday your paths will cross again and this time you wont let the chance to be with her slip away. There's this guy I used to like and I knew liked me too but he didnt took the chance to let me know and court me. He knew he had to focus on other things and he let me go.

I don't believe in "The One" but I, of course, believe in the one or few people who would be the greatest partners on many dimensions. However, I do have two people in mind that I am wondering about, well, more like one. One is from junior high who I haven't seen since and he was beatifully dimensional as a person- looks, skills, intelligence, charisma, personality, social, etc. and I wonder about how things would've been if I had fixed myself up and gone over to his school to visit him back in high school. I did not regret letting him go until recently six years later and I deeply am sorry.
