 I am a big believer of saving. Well maybe you are taking your being frugal overboard. $20 i think is quite alright to spend for food or for whatever pleases you. I think what you can do is that you can set an amount that you can spend. What I do is that once a month I would buy an expensive item. That way I wouldn't feel deprived.  Well these arguments during Christmas may be due to holiday stres. There is always an argument as to how to serve the ham on the table in our house during Christmas Eve. There is also an argument as to what time we should go to mass in this special day. But all in all the mood is festive and these petty arguments are soon forgotten the moment we give and open our gifts to each other. |

We are the same, I would ask them for the gift they want. That way I know that what I will be buying is what the receiver wants. Though the gift would no longer be surprised, the anticipation is still there. It depends on what horror movie I will be watching. If it is just the usual gory slasher and monster movies I can handle it even when I am alone. But if it is a ghost movie like The Sixth Sense and What Lies Beneath, no I do not have the guts to watch it alone. Maybe it's because I know that in real life monsters don't exist, whereas ghosts maybe watching us always and we don't know it. |

I do that too. I sometimes order a much larger size of what I will usually eat then ask the waiter to pack the half while I eat the other half. I do that because I am not really a good cook and I don't have much time to cook everyday. That way I can always reheat it if I wanted. Thanks for posting. |

You don't have to finish all of in one go if you can't. If you are talking about the bits and morsels left I think that is just fine. What I don't like seeing is whole plateful of untouched food wasted. Thank you for posting. |

If the opportunity arises that you make friends with your ex, I guess it is alright provided that you have both moved on with your past relationship and that your current girlfriend does not have an issue against you being friends with your ex. Otherwise this will just cause conflict and you might end up having two exes. |
