I can't use ebay but want to start selling things online, QXL seems to be the best one and I'm thinking of using Amazon marketplace, any advice? Are there any other sites that are either based in the UK or acessable to and easy to use by British sellers and actually get buyers?

I've used Amazon UK's market place to sell some old books and it worked out well. They usually have a fixed amount of postage that they allocate to you (which the buyer pays), and on some light books, it means you make a profit on the postage (though I sent everything registered post as I wanted proof of postage). The other thing I liked about Amazon is that all money goes through them. So the hassles of dealing financially with some stranger is reduced, because Amazon collect the payment for you.

jend80, try loot.com it's also good. Use to buy stuff there and quite safe. Haven't been using that for a while but there is no harm in looking into it, though. Good luck to you, and Godbless.
