Do you eat exotic foods?

I am not a big fan of exotic foods as I prefer to eat normal foods like chicken, beef and vegetables. But sometimes whe I got out with friend there will be occasional dares. So here are the list of the exotic foods I tasted (I think these foods would not even make it to fear factor :)): 1. Ox's brain - it's like jelly in your mouth. It is served with lemon and a spicy mayo like sauce 2. Lizard - tastes chicken only the meat is sweeter 3. Frog's legs - my favorite. It is served deep fried with garlicky sweet spicy sauce.

My friends and I tried this restaurant which serves exotic foods. Well, on our way there, I psyched myself to give it a try. But when we got there, I couldn't force myself to taste it. They ordered from snake to frog, from different kinds of insects, to this lizard dish. They said it tasted well. I didnt get to eat any of the "meat" but I did try the soup from the snake dish. The soup tasted like fish, though there's this hot sensation at the pit of your stomach. I felt a little warm after. Then they said that it was an aphrodisiac. I didn't try the rest of the fare, but from what I've heard, they tasted like the usual pork, beef and chicken.

Yes, I have tasted wild lizard, frogs, fried 1-day old chick, dogs, cats, plus snake! and that's half-cooked cobra! It's very delicious. In our province, whenever they see snakes, they catch them and cook them and one time when I was there, they were able to catch a cobra and my drunk uncle prepared and cooked it and served it half-cooked.

I think the lizard and the frog I can tolerate but not the one day old (seems so cruel to bring them out of this world for a day and eventually kill them), cats and dogs (I am a dog and cat lover), snake - perhaps I can eat this but definitely not half cooked. Thank you for the post :)

I love foods from all over the world. The more exotic the foods, the more I want to try them. I'm willing to try ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING once!! I don't care what it is, I will try it. If other humans can eat it, why the heck can't I? My tastes have amazed some people.

Eeeeewwwwwwww. Yuck! I can't stand exotic foods. Good for you, you have the privilege to taste different kinds of foods. I wish I were like that, but I just can't. I'd vomit even just looking at people eating these kind of food.

I understand. I actually have a limit with what exotic foods I can tolerate. For my part I think I can never eat worms, blood, liver or any other weird parts.
