Which character from the awesome books Twilight and New Moon would you love to be best friends with?

for a friend, definitely Alice. she's lovely. really sweet and exuberant. her over-enthusiasm is quite charming. I would like Alice for a friend. and I have more than a passing crush on Edward, which I didn't think I would from the start. when I first read the description I was disappointed in him as a leading man in a vampire book. but he grew on me. I think more for his mannerisms than his appearence. he's written in such a way that you can really see his expressions, and I was won over rather embarassingly easily. for a grown woman reading teen fiction. oh well.

LOL - That's me exactly. Alice would be my first choice as a friend hands down. I love the character. She's so bubbly and happy :) Plus that gift of hers is quite handy. And Edward....well you said it best. Though I watched the movie first and wasn't too impressed. But the love story intrigued me so much that I decieded to read the book - and as I expected it was everything the movie wasn't.

The Cullens seem like really nice people. I agree with you that it would be nice to be friends with people like that.

You should totally read it, I'm sure it's got something in there you'd like, if not just the fact that it's written almost perfectly for new age readers.

I think all of us would love to be friends with Edward, he's a very likable character and he's very addicting. To be honest though the characters I would most like to count among my friends would have to be Alice and Jacob - in that order.

Jacob would be awesome to be friends with, but I don't think I'd just want to be his friend. After re reading New Moon, I've grown to like him more than Edward, actually.

I'd like to be friends with all the Cullens though I wouldn't feel completely normal around any of them. But I'd definately love to be friends with Jacob! He's the best!

Jacob, hands down. He's not the best person in the book, and he has a totally cool attitude. Edward would make me feel like I'm not good enough, and Alice would make me feel kinda stupid, being able to read the future and minds and all. So yeah, Jacob Black.

i'd love to be friend with jacob too. well, i loved edward in twilight, but in new moon and eclipse? nah. the cullens are all nice but they're not really the sort of, umm, 'beings' that i'll enjoy.. and no, not bella, i don't like her. lol. i like her at times, but not always. but jacob is different, he's a really fun guy to be with.
