Who else finds Hugh Laurie, as Dr. House, appealing?

I never saw him as someone I'll be attracted to before, especially when he was just doing supporting roles. I've even found him repugnant at times when he took on those scruffy looking ones. But when he got this role, no matter how annoying or arrogant his character becomes, there's just something in him that I find appealing. Is it because his character just begs to be taken cared of? Is is because of his air of superiority? Is is because he's so good at his job? What do you think? What makes him appealing for you? Even the guy, pls tell us girls why we'd find a guy like him attractive.

I've always liked Hugh Laurie because he's such a good actor. To me, an actor doesn't have to be attractive, it's his talent that counts. I only started watching House because of him, and if it wasn't for him, the program would be just another hospital show, and I probably wouldn't even bother to watch it. I like the character because he's so good at what he does, and because he doesn't usually give a c--p about people's opinions of him.
