Fish Belly is the most delicious

I think Milkfish has the best tasting belly. I don't really find the belly of the other fish as delicious as that of the milkfish. I really am so crazy about milkfish belly so that whenever I cook this fish dish I make sure that all the bellies are reserved to me. Look here I cooked the native "paksiw" and I have already feasted on them. Look only two pieces are left. I certainly ate first the bellies.

It's also my favorite part in a fish. For me the fish is boring if I don't have the one with belly. I also like Daing.

I'm not a big fish eating fan, but when I do have it, I just tend to prefer the plain old fillets. Guess different parts of the world like different parts of the fish :) I remember when I first moved to Florida, walking through the frozen meat section. They had a pig's head frozen in the display case. I had to ask them, why it was there. They said that a certain culture, think is was Spanish, liked the pig's head. To each their own....

I'm not very fond of eating fish bellies but my husband loves them very much so whenever we have fish at home or at a restaurant he instantly gets the belly part of my fish.

Fish belly is my younger brother's most favorite part when fish dish is served whereas head part always belongs to my husband's elder sister. None of other family members would like to taste the head part of the fish. It's awesome that one of my old female colleagues loves the eye part of the fish very much

I love fish belly too! Especially if it is a milkfish's belly. Oh, i just love eating it with calamansi and toyo. Bangus(milkfish) belly was quite popular here in Dagupan.
