I keep seeing this pop up here on myLot under "hobbies I enjoy" people are listing "life". To me "life" is a whole lot more than a "hobby". I have always thought of a hobby as something one does part time for pleasure and relaxation. Life is not something we do "part time" and it is definately not always a pleasure nor is it alwasy relaxing. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. What do you think?

That may be due to numerous reasons. Life is an extremely broad term. You are right about how life IS more than a hobby, but that excludes things such as...lets say a job? Many people spent their lives on getting a career. In a way, life is a hobby, it happens to be a very long hobby full of diversities and many twist and turns. Although the word "Hobby" doesn't fully describe the term "life" I believe it is a fair enough word for it to be placed under Hobbies we enjoy. -Andy

Yeah...a hobby is a kind of matter/work that we love to do. But, life is something you must enjoy, wheter you like it or not. So, don't worry be happy, let's enjoy our life....
