What is your favorite book of the Bible and why?
My favorite book of the Bible would have to be the Book of Revelations, that is because of the emmense symbolism in it. It is the book of the Bible that is filled with all of the symbolism and beauty that encompasses the scriptures. But I do like quite a few of the non cannonical scriptures mostly the ones that deal with the youth of Yashua.
So tell mee what is your favorite book and why?!?

My favourite book of the Bible is Romans.
I believe it is vitally necessary in today's world to know WHY we believe WHAT we believe, and while for this we need to study the WHOLE Bible and follow the teachings right through, the book of Romans is a good starting place. Almost all the basic doctrines of the Christian faith can be found there.
My very first Bible study was Romans chapter 8 and it remains my favourite chapter.

Your very first study was Romans 8? That is weird since most people start with John as it is the "Love" story of the Christians. But Romans is a great place to start since it does cover most of the Doctrines are right there.

I too really like Revelation but for some reason I seem to read Matthew and Proverbs alot. I really don't know why I like them it just seems that's where I'm lead alot.

Proverbs and Psalms are a couple of my favorites as well as they are so deep and poetic. As for Matthew, maybe thre is something there that touches your spirit as I know the Book of John is considered as the Greatest Love Story ever wrote.

My favourite series of novels as a child, was the Jamnes Herriot series, being based on vets and animals.
Nowadays, my favourite author would be Dan Brown, who wrote The Da Vinci Code. I also really like Rosenmary Pilcher who writes historiacl fiction.
My favourite book (s) would be any novel written about early ausatralian settlement.

Thank you for the response but did you even read the discussion?!? It is WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK OF THE BIBLE?!? Not just your favorite book. I was wondering what people's views of the books in the bible are as I am trying to make a compliation of information with my last several posts.
