Is Microsoft Windows VISTA better than Windows XP?

XP is the best.In fact, i've not used Vista much. But, somehow i have frame of mind that XP is the best

Well I guess that depends on how you define better... I guess the newest software is always the most secure, but other than that I don't think there's much of a difference between the two.

um no. the newest software is not always the most secure. the bugs are access points for hackers and what not to get in.

ya.. the new version is always not secure. You'l find some loop holes during the course of time. Thank you for your useful information.

i've not tried it but from what i hear vista is a bloated version of xp. right now it's 'bugs r us' to boot. the drm is causing problems with people's hardware such as dvd players and dvds. third party software isn't usable on vista either. my personal opinion is the best computer has windows xp & linux onboard. linux for surfing and xp for video editing.

that is absolutely correct. there is not much difference between xp and vista. also, third party softwares might not be supported. can you tell some advantages of vista?? thank you very much for your informative comment.
