Former reserve bank chairman Alan Greenspan warned of a possible recession during this year, what do you think about this?

A possible recession isn't a recession yet. There's always a possibility of a recession, when Greenspan tells that there's more intrest in it then when others do. Greenspan told in 1996 about irrational exuberance and shares react on it for a while, then they go back to business as usual. I believe though an economic recession is possible, the economy are doing it well. It's more dangerous when nobody thinks a recession is possible.

Have you seen the US Wallstreet reports yesterday? The share prices are going down quite steep. Suggesstions were made for another recession looming... Boy, was Greenspan correct!! Guess, we'd better prepare for the next recession coming...Sigh.. Here we go again.... downsize and layoffs!!

I believe Alan Greenspan is still a very influencial figure in world finances, and even when he made mention of a recession the world markets paniced, and fell. Stocks have risen constantly, so we could be in for a correction this year.

i dont think so, the stock market is going string and the GDP revenue is excellent. i firmly disagree with that thesis
