Life after death

Do you believe in life after death? Do you think that our souls stay, but in another deminsion? My fiances father died Christmas of 2005. Many times the both of us have thought that we have felt a presense in our house.
Sometimes late at night, we might be watching tv or reading a book and one of us will catch a glimpse of movement out of the corner of our eyes. This really doesn't happen very often. Usually a couple times a month. Do you think that it could possibly be his father??
I honestly don't know how I feel about it. It doesn't bother me at all.
I guess the reason I'm really asking is because for the first 3 weeks after his fathers death, about 3 nights a week, his father would appear in my dreams. It was never anything terrible, but he always wanted me to relate a message to my fiance that he was ok, and that there was no reason to keep mourning. Those dreams ended after 3 weeks.
After those dreams ended, thats when we noticed movement out of the corners of our eyes, and began feeling a presense in our home.
I really don't know what to think about it. Does anybody have any ideas?? Has this ever happened to you?

I personally don't believe in spirits roaming here on earth, but I believe the dream you had meant something. I believe that the spirit of someone can't remain on earth to "wander" about but has a place it's headed to. I always see things out of the corner of my eye and maybe you and your husband just notice it a little more or something that you two talk about make you feel like you actually see something because you want to! If your father in law says that he's okay then you should take it as that and leave him to rest!

No, but it's happened to my aunt, who claims that she sees my father (her brother) and sister all of the time. I told her that they want her to know that they are just fine!
As for myself, I have indeed felt my dad's presence a few times. A few months ago, a psychic told me that my dad passed "with ease" and watches over me frequently. Also, I've dreamt about him twice so far, and believe that he was trying to let me know that he was fine. I'm glad, but his absence in this life just tore a big hole in my heart.

No.. It has never happened to me.. Its somewhat interesting BUT QUITE SCARY :(
