My cat is very clingy to me when I'm not feeling well or sad. She's currently laying on the bed with her paw on my leg. I think most days I would go crazy without my little critter.. Do any of you have animals who calm your feel bads and make you feel better?

When we were sick over the past week Meeca and Nemo both hung out in bed with us.. so they can sense when we dont feel good or somethings wrong.. Meec gave us so much attention, I bet she was sad when I went back to work yesterday!

All of my cats do this when I am feeling bad or when I am not. They lay on top of me and my boyfriend as if we are their beds or something. It is great at times when it is really cold outside because I do not have a heater in my apartment. (By the way, this is because I live in Miami, Florida, and there are more hot days than cold here.)

My cat Waffles is like that. When I had a virus about two weeks ago, she slept on the bed with me for several hours. She also jumps on the bed when she knows that I am there, then rubs herself against me and purrs. My Tabitha was also very much like that, only was more affectionate. She'd wake up and run to where I had been sitting in the sunporch and jump on my lap. She'd jump on the bed and sit on my pillow, right over my head. Eventually, she'd wind up hogging the whole pillow, as her weight shifted against my head. Then I would move lower to a more comfortable position until I was no longer sleeping on the pillow! How could I, when the cat was occupying it, lol.

My cat can be clingy sometimes, she likes to follow us around the house and prefers to be snoozing in the same room as us! She's very snuggly and cuddly, and lets me cuddle and give her kisses on her head & nose. I feel very de-stressed when i see her and give her a cuddle & a kiss.

Oh yes! I have two dogs that are the best cure of feel bads ever. I have to admit that sometimes I don't realize that I am down in the dumps real bad until my sweeties come over and love me.

My cat is really loving. She likes to sit on my chest all the time, or in my lap. At night she has to share my pillow or sleep on me.

My cats are very clingy when I want to lay down. Many times it does drive me nuts as my youngest one wants to lay on top of me right under my chin. And trust me, she doesn't fit there anymore. She'll then rub her head all over mine which makes watching TV very difficult. My older male cat is only annoying at nighttime. He wants to lay directly up against me. But during the day he'll lay at my feet. He's pretty easy to handle though as I can just pick him up, move him, and he'll usually stay moved. When I need my cats they are there for me. When I don't want them, they are there for me as well.

*nods* My Isis always knows when I'm sick. If I've got a tummy ache she'll lay what next to my stomache and purr her little heart out. It's almost like having a heating blanet and I always feel better knowing my baby cares. When she doesn't knw what's wrong she just lays with me and purrs for me. There have been times I've felt so bad that I couldn't move and normally she won't hesitate to let me know when she wants to me feed. But on sick days she'll let me go the whole day without a fuss. It's why I have to be extra careful with her on those day. :) She can be too nice.
