Poisons in makeup, shampoos, creams all get into your bloodstream

The more makeup you use, the more poisonous substances get into your bloodstream. The chemicals in makeup and shampoos simply soak through your skin and immediately get in your bloodstream, and in many cases, stay there for a while. If you use body shampoos like Axe or Suave or any of the name brands, every chemical you see listed in the ingredients ends up in your bloodstream. If you make excessive use of these products, and wear makeup every day, the chemicals can build up faster than your liver can get rid of them, and you can simply fall ill. It seems like the flu or a cold, but it could well be connected to the chemicals applied to your skin. Even simple soap has a chemical base that can be harmful is used continuously. Try this: During a vacation, try simply not using any of these substances and just see how you're health improves and attitude changes. If you wash, do so without any soap at all or with just a tiny bit, and wash it completely off really fast. Same with shampoos. Use the simplest brands with little scent, and again rinse your hair out thoroughly each time and use just a tiny bit. Deoderant? It's not nearly as dangerous as shampoos and makeup -- and perfume and cologne, which contain the highest concentrations of toxic chemicals that soak completely into the skin since you apply them and they stay on the skin until the next time you shower or bathe.

Well, I do not use that much make up to start with and the make up I use is organic make up so therefore it would not have any chemicals in it. Shampoo's that I use are made out of teatree which is also natural no chemicals, in regards to soap I use a tea tree product for this as well as I am very concerned with what I use on my body and therefore try to stay away from products that use chemicals in them for the reason of side affects.

You are taking proper precautions, but even the organics can ave volatile chemistry. Just look at the ingredients list and make sure metallics aren't included.

i dont wear makeup, at least not all the time and if i do i wear mascara, i just started discussion about how my eyes burn when i wear mascara. this could be why, wow. i do use soaps and shampoos and conditioners daily, but to me makeup seems a little more dangerous and even worse for u skiin, so i can imagine what its doin to ur insides. i think im alright, and im glad not wearing a bunch of make up like everyone else can pay off for me later.=)

Hm. Good thing I know what's in stuff. Or at least understand what the 'list of contents' says. I rarely ever wear make up, but mostly my stuff's organic. We make some of our own soaps as well..so you know those are natural stuff. Even the few things we buy which do contain the crap which is obviously not healthy for you we use sparingly (one plus to constantly being broke and having o make things stretch I guess). Not constantly so we make ourselves sick. As for perfumes..well, we buy those from garage sales and flea markets, older stuff which doesn't have lists of contents from them, 'cause they're in those litle decorative jars without lables..but since we rarely get colds, but once, twice tops a year or even truly ill without flu-like symptoms..I suppose those aren't harming anything either. Good topic though +++ Alot of people don't even think about what's in what they put on themselves.
