Having trouble with posting responses...please help

Hi! I am new to mylot. I recently responded to a couple of discussions. However, twice, when I hit "preview" to preview my response...I am directed back to the main discussion page listing various topics. My response is then no longer available and I need to retype what I wrote. I am curious if this has ever happened to anyone else, and if anyone has any suggestions on this. I began to just not preview my post and submit it right away, because it is harder for me to write it the second time. Maybe I am doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for your responses!

You need more friends in order to get more responses. Sometimes if people are searching for a discussion of your type, they may find you. But it is better to have more friends since they can easily find discussions from you and their other friends just by checking "discussions started by my friends" link.

Thank you for your response. I am starting to understand how mylot works a little bit better. I definitely would like to have more friends...I am hoping to find others who share similiar interests so that I can also reply to their discussions also. Thanks again :)

I am not new, and I had the same problem yesterday. It happened three times. I think it was a system glitch.

I don't know...I was just rereading it before I posted it to make sure it sounded ok. But now I just reread it in the text box instead of hitting preview first. Besides, I don't really have time to preview all of my responses/comments-but I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist...LOL

I do think its something to do with your browsers prferences? Set it to accept javascript, turn off auto-reload and if you use IE, set it at mid-security settings

Hi and welcome , it happens to us all don't worry , when you get over 500 posts you can copy and paste , I highlight most of my responses and if the disappear you can just paste them again , I have written really long posts and my lot goes down for some reason and its gone lol ,really frustrating , good luck its good fun on My Lot xx

it may be due to some glitch at that time.try to copy your own response just by ctrl+a and ctrl+c before pressing the preview or submit button.so that you wont loose your post.it will be frustrating to write the same post again and it wont be that much same and best as the one which we have written in the first attempt.it the problem persists contact mylot regarding this.

I have just attempted to preview my rsponse, which was as follows:
I have known a few similar problems in the past when Mylot have suffered from from a few errors, but this particular situation is new to me. It would seem to me that what you are doing in respect of submitting directly is the sensible way to deal with this at the moment, after all you can always proof read the post before submitting.
However, I did receive an error message this time, so there obviously is a problem which Mylot will no doubt address soon.

LOL well at least I know that I'm not just crazy :) ok here's another question...is there anyway to comment on all of my comments?? Like to thank everyone for their responses? Or can I only reply to one response at a time.

Hey hi, welcome to mylot friend, well it never happened to me, may be some problem with mylot at that time, try again will get back soon soon, dont worry friend,keep searching good discussions about which you know something and can answer, strictly avoid one liner posts,best luck and happy earning!!!...cheers!!

welcome to this mylot community.This has never happened to me.But still myfriend had got this sometime ago.You are doing it right by just sending it right away rather then previwing it.It is a big in the software.Still you need not worry just carry on.

Thank you...I think that I will begin to just read my text before I submit it and bypass the preview option altogether :)
