Nature has always fascinated me and not to forget the stars. I simply love to gaze and gaze without actually thinking about anything. It gives a sense of relaxation and contentment. I like to look at the dark sky with the twinkling stars. The moon is another 'favourite. Last night while driving back from Houston, the moon looked spectacular. I think it was a full moon, pale yellow and huge. I looked it for such a long loooong time:)

I am amazed at the amount of possibilities for existance "out there" when I look up. Usually if I look long enough in the distance I usually get to see something move between the stars. I believe we would be very naive to believe we were the only exsistance in the universe! Not to say I believe in three headed four legged aliens either lol... but I can't ... wont discard the possibility of other existance!

I used to look up at the stars and think about things like just how far up there they are and how bright they must be to see them from all the way down here..but now, when I see them, I think about heaven and what it must be like..then I think about what my mother could be doing up there...

When i look at the stars in a quiet summer night, i think that this marvellaus beauty cannot exist just like that. There is a GOD and that is unquestionable for me, sometyhing or somebody made those stars look so good, and certainly we have a creator, and people that don't think at least 10% that this is the truth, i don't know what they live for

I love looking at the stars, they are beautiful. When I look at the stars I am always in awe of how huge the universe is, it blows my mind if I start to think about it and usually leads me to think that there must be life on other planets somewhere up there. I always wonder what's at the end of the universe...surely it can't go on forever.

When i look up the stars in the sky i can see how beautiful the creation of God is. I believe that God created the universe and that he wanted that everything will be in order. It is how we can see his powers in making this universe and mankind.

stars - looking at stars
When I look at the stars it is just peaceful. It is a time that I can just sit back and relax. I like to think of all the good things in life.

The stars have always been a mystery and an inspiration to a great number of people, poets, scientists, philosophers and even an ordinary person. They always speak of a supreme mind behind the grand design. Their presence in the heavens are always shrouded in mystery and makes people think and wonder. Like what the popular nursery rhyme says Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are.

I think of romance and peace. I can imagine myself now lying on a beach right now in the evening. Looking at the clear starry sky. I would be at peace. It would be relaxing. All i can hear is the sound of the waves and the stars as my light for the evening. I would be thinking how amazing it is just to look at stars. Something you wont get to see much anymore in polluted cities. Think about just how badly someone should get into loving nature and all the things that go with it. Clear starry sky makes me feel romantic as well. So i tend to think about how wonderful it would be if i was with someone special right then and there. Or if i already am with someone, i would be think or probably be making silly shapes with him with stars.

I look at the sky and say to myself, what a beautiful night. How I wish I had someone to share it with. Then I sigh.

Whenever I look up at the stars I feel peace and tranquility and feel somewhat in awe about how our world was created.

When i look up at the stars I think about how many different people may be looking at the exact same stars i am. I think its beautiful that no matter where you are in the world we all share the same sky. I try to find the first star of the evening and make a wish when i can :)

When I look up at the stars I think how beautiful they are and how blessed we are that God gave us something to light the darkness.

I think how the sky looks adn how much brighter it is when you are on the ocean than when you are in the city. I think there must be more than us in this universe and wonder if we came here from someplace else or if there was more to it

I wonder which ones the angels are dusting to keep them bright while they are watching over us and which one my mum is watching us from. I often choose one that is particularly bright and hope she is there or make a wish.

Blessed be I tend to think about the possibility they are not actually there. Because of the huge distances involved i wonder just how long it will be before we actually know?

When people are really getting to me and I want to scream out loud, I try to get a starry night and go outside and look up. I just stare and think about how long those stars have been there and how they will continue to twinkle when all the fools (including me) on earth are gone. It really does put things in perspective.

When I get the chance to look up to the sky on a clear night and see all the stars and planets illuminating the heavens I begin to let my mind wander. I think about how far away those certain places or objects are. I tend to think about life as well and if ever during my lifetime will we ever get the chance to travel to those distant planets and stars or not. I think about when I was growing up and I used to look up at the stars when we lived in Saskatchewan. I look up into the sky and I think about all the memories and stuff that I had when I was living in Saskatchewan as a child. The memories I made there are possibly the only happy ones I have and I like to be reminded of them however possible. I used to remember nights that I would sit outside and stare up at the stars and think about my life. I used to just sit there on the beach below our house & just wish about all the things that I would love to happen or change. Now for me at this point in time it's more of a trip down memory lane for me than anything. I find myself dreaming of those days to come again so I could feel that happy one more time. I like to look at the stars and just admire them for their overall beauty. I'll slip into a state of mind where I would dream about my life and think that one day I'll get everything that I deserve. That one day I'll get that little white house and picket fence that I've always wanted. One day I'll be completely happy and not have to worry about anything ever again. I think about how when I have these things my other half, my puppy & me & even the children that we have somewhere down the road.. Will truly be happy playing outside in the back yard with each other.. Enjoying life.. Appreciating all of the obstacles we had to face along the way to get there.. All the sacrificing.. And how we used to think it just wasn't worth it.. But when looking at the stars I think of having all of this & me & my other half realizing all those sacrifices we made, all those obstacles we face.. Helped us to be where we are today. I wish & just think about this day & a smile crosses my face & a sense of comfort fills my heart as well. I love looking at the stars purely for how they twinkle and sparkle in the sky. Sometimes I'll even think that they aren't really there, it's actually a dark blanket that has been wrapped around the earth and there's been holes poked in it and that's what we call stars. Silly, isn't it? I love the different constellations you can look for as well and I wonder from time to time how the astronomers came up with those certain things before. I even wonder how they came up with the names of some of them and why they are important. Is there really a reason why we looked for certain shapes or patterns in the heavens? I'd like to believe so but I have no answer for that question myself. I remember it was one of the first times me and my other half went out to a playground near where he used to live. We went just to goof around and after that we went to a hill nearby and look at the stars. It was a crystal clear night and every star was shining bright. Not only that, I saw something else that night that I had never really seen before. I saw the "northern lights" or the Aurora Borealis as they are also known as. I thought they were absolutely gorgeous. They danced and moved all over the sky the entire time we were there. I haven't seen them since but I look forward to seeing them again. They are a truly unique and beautiful occurrence that have a personality all their own. I'd sometimes even daydream of flying around through space with my arms extended. I'd zip past certain planets I'd seen in science class back when I was in school and I'd land on certain ones just to take a look around. I'd fly to the sun just to see what the surface of it looks like and how the solar flares jump off of the sun and dance around in space. I'd fly to the moon just so I could put my feet in the same place that some of the most famous astronauts did. I'd run and jump and float in space like the astronauts did in the film they made while they were actually there. In conclusion, there are a few different things I will tend to think about when I look to the heavens and see stars all over the place. I'll think about past memories, my dreams in life, silly theories I come up with and places I'd like to be in my life and where I live. Stars are a great mystery the skies have presented us with that we may never solve but we can always think and dream about reaching in my opinion! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx
