update on my friend

hey there, im updating on my friend who recieved them counterfiet cheques in her mail and was asked to cash them. well me and lols189 my sister had a chat with her about this and we explained the consequences if the cheque bouces in her account and so on and im pleased to say she took our great advice and handed the cheques into the nearest police station which is good news, the police are going to try and deal with this and see if there is anything they can do as she still has all the emails off the scammers. thanks alot people for your help and advice. =)

Very glad your friend listened to the advice that was given to her and that she took them to the police, goodness knows what could have happened to her in the way of her well-being financially if she went ahead and did what was asked of her. There are some very real unpleasant people out there in the big world who are just waiting to take advantage of us innocent people and for some they are not as lucky as your friend.

Meg I am so happy that you and Lols have managed to get her to do this. At least this way she won't go through what my Son went through. If they are Genuine then fair do but I would be very suprised if they are. Well done Girls.

My mother in law just reported a scam coming from canda to the Canadain police. The scammer was saying she won a contest from Canada. She knew she did not do any contest from Canada. Of course the USA couldn't do anything about. SInce, the scammer claimed they were from out of the country. So I am curious to see if they will catch this scammer. Hopefull, the cops catch both scammers and put them in jail.
