Oh, I LOVE Halloween night in my neighborhood! All the houses have their jack-o-lanterns out and the ghosts made out of sheets swaying in their trees! It's so festive! I go out that day and get tons of candy and chocolate bars then get home, put on some kind of costume (this year a scaaaaaary witch ;) and put on a good Halloween movie, then pass out the candy all night (we have tons of kids in our neighborhood) it's so much fun! I can't wait!

Not as much kids go trick or treating around here anymore, they all go to the other neighborhoods, but we try and make it fun for the ones that do. Thank you for responding.

It is sometimes disappointing to see that some people because of the way the world is now are afraid to let there kids go out trick or treating because it is not as safe as it used to be and that does take some of the fun out of it. Let me know if anyone answers when you ring the doorbell LOL.

Yeah, some years there're more kids, some years not as much;) Every year my Dad buys TONS of candy to pass out but every year not one single trick-or-treater has come by! It's so sad! I wish just ONE would come this year. Hey, maybe I should dress up and ring the doorbell! :D

We're having our annual 'adult only' halloween party. It's a lot of fun, everybody dresses up, there's prizes for best costume and all. We all have a great time, and decorate the house with surprises and all.

I don't think anyone is ever too old for Halloween. And it doesn't take a lot to dress up. All you need is a prop or a small costume piece.

Taking the kids trick or treating for an hour(it is supposed to get really cold here and we don't want to keep them out too long), then we will let them help give out some candy that we bought for the other children.

My daughters birthday is on halloween so we gather together to have a costume party for the kids and I take them all trick or treating while the parents enjoy some time as adults. Everyone loves it and I have been doing it for her since she was born. She loves having her birthday on Halloween and I must admit so do I!

I'm doing my favorite thing...staying home, watching the kids come and go and checking out their costumes. Usually several of the neighbors gather their chairs and sit outside in someone's driveway and yell "we're all over here" as the kids come around. They get so excited when they can dip into 4 or 5 bowls of candy in one place.

It is fun to watch all the different types of costumes come and go on your porch, we usually walk half the night then sit home and give out the candy the rest of the night. Thank you for responding, so few people do.
