The hubby & I went hunting

On the few occasions I go hunting with the hubby, my shots are always with the camera. This is the shot I took when I went deer hunting with my hubby. He didn't get a deer this trip, but this is the bob cat he got instead. Now it's stuffed & sits in the corner of my living room looking like it's going to pounce. Talk about some sharp claws! Does anyone else have hunting photos to share? No gory ones please.

Hi, I'm sorry I can't see your picture. I would be interested in seeing it though :) Sorry I don't go hunting so don't have any hunting photos to share.

Hmm. Thanks for letting me know. Shoot, I thought I did it right this time. Only a few hundred more posts & I'll be able to insert photos into a discussion. lol

LOL i was thinking the same thing. only 80 more points and i can add photo's! I like to go hunting, but my wife doesn't. she actually prefers to do her shooting with the camera too, just not anywhere where there might poison ivy creeping near her. This is her favorite shot today, if you want to check out this discussion (darn that copy and paste rule!) www.mylot.com/w/discussions/840581.aspx maybe you can upload your picture to your page and we could look at it there? i'd like to see it.

OK, I've uploaded it to the profile pics. Looks like you have a future hunting buddy. :) I like the sky scenes like your wife does too. I wish I could find the photo I took of some clouds that looked like a tornado.

That's a beautiful animal. Although i don't think i'd want to look at it leaping out at me everytime i walked into the living room! I've got to find a pic that my wife took one day, it's an amazing picture. As soon as i find it, i'll post it and give you a nudge. we're going to get it blown up poster size and frame it

okay, here's your nudge. i found it faster than i thought i would. we scanned it onto disc, so it's more grainy than the actual photo. We've got pictures of snow, and everything else you can think of. Hey, do you have a myspace page?

no, i haven't gone hunting, but, i'd like to experience it. is it possible to go hunting without killing the animals? of course not. am i being contradictory? yes, i am. i must be cazy answering my own questions. anyway, what i want is to experience the fun and thrill of hunting minus the shooting of animals. shooting them with a camera is what i'll do.

It's a great way to spend time with the hubby and enjoy the great outdoors. You have to be very quiet and pretty patient, but some of the wildlife photos can be worth it. Considering I can't even cut up a chicken, I'll be sticking to the camera too! ;D

Couldn't see the picture in the discussion, but I checked back on your page and saw it there - boy - I wouldn't like that chasing me! I wouldn't like it in the corner of my living room either - stuffed or not! I have never been hunting (not that I'd want to), I'd rather stick to shooting photographs like you. Nice one paidreader!

LOL, shortly after hubby got it stuffed, he wanted it by the fireplace, next to his recliner. The first time I fell asleep in his chair, my arm slipped off the armrest & the darned thing wound up scratching me. With claws that sharp, he was quickly sent to the corner and has been there since! ;D

Ha ha, I would have fallen off the chair in fright if that had happened to me! Hope your hubby keeps it in the corner.

I have just been doing some tidying up here in MyLot, and noticed that I hadn't thanked you for making me your best response in this discussion. This is the second BR you have given me! I really do appreciate it - thankyou very much. Need to get my star!
