Did you believe in God? Why you are believing? Is there any solid reason to say? Did you ever seen god? Did you feel god at any time If god is the creator who is the creator of god

Dear Jayan , you are putting the question in a wrong place not because the esteemed my lot members are ignorant on the subject but rather they have replied it many times including me. But since you are from my place i thought i cannot ignore your inquisitiveness. The best place to know about God is your place since there lived a master who realized god and himself was the incarnation of a great soul.It took years for me to realize the concept of god and the creation and once i could comprehend the concept i could follow all great spiritual masters of the world including the great and simple Sreenarayana gurudev. His teachings and writings are of high order and only an enlightened soul can explain the god in simple words like he did. Make use of his library if you are serious. by the by i do not belong to any cult,or religion though born as a Hindu. coming back to your query i would answer. 1) I do believe in God since I believe in myself. 2)the answer to the second question is there in the first answer. 3)There are only solid reasons. To say that I believe in god, you need to understand the concept of god. If you believe he/she is a person with 4 hands or 8 legs or still with white rays and white attire, or may be in some other imagination , you are likely to get desperate in your pursuit to realize him though you may still realize him at the end of the journey. that is a circuitous route. To realize god you need to realize yourself and your goals.Sankara has told "Aham brahmasmi"means i am Brahman or god. a true statement . but when i asked my preceptor he laughed and answered me that unless you know yourself you will never realize god. the statement of Sankara is for the post graduate and not for the elementary class student. As i understand God is and inclusive of the universe. Means you cannot separate God and you once you realize god. then you , me and the third party and god all are one and from the same root, the jeevathma from the paramathma. If you can comprehend this principle you may not ask the subsequent questions , that is whether we feel god or who is the creator of god...and all such silly doubts. There is no creator or creation since both are same though distinctly appear.to put it simple words that you can understand when lord Krishna opened his mouth to his mother Yesodha saw the whole universe inside the mouth including the little Krishna and herself.it is a simple episode to explain what i have told here. so the creation, the creator (and the creators' creator)and the substance for creation are all one and inseparable in ultimate truth , and as such believing or non believing, seeing or not seeing , feeling or not feeling do not arise. read more on the subject from various sources and you may get new light. Theosophy, taoism, Buddha philosophy, writings of J.K., Yoganannda,Osho, subhash pathriji, and last but not the least Upanishads(Not puranas that may mislead you)and many modern European authors of alchemy and philosophy on related subject may be of help. believe nothing unless convinced and follow nothing unless proved to your conscience. Good luck.

I believe in God because I believe in the duality principal. Like the yin and the yang. For one you have to have the other. Like 2 sides of a coin.

...in the beginning God... undifferentiated God.. the great spirit and spark of Life.. I had a unique experience, almost 30 years ago.. I had been studying world religions, and astrology.. I was sitting in the Rocky Mountains USA, when it seemed as though I could see a thought drifting across the very blue sky towards me (!!?) and it hit me in the head! lol.. ...what it said was, "you've been learning about all the forces at work in the universe (astrology).. what about the force that created the universe, and what if that force has consciousness?" In my mind, it was like a light bulb or bright light turning on, and I thought "God!".. My life changed since that moment, previously a broken child abuse victim/survivor unable to have relationships, now a happy healed and filled to the brim person (interspersed with healing times) - til now I have been happily married for 26 years and raised two strong capable children, and helping with a grand child. I'm only saying that this experience truly impacted my whole life.. and self. A few days later.. I had found a little booklet "God's Great Plan of Rescue For Planet Earth" only after reading it four times did I understand it, and then suddenly, the sun setting over the mountains in the west, and shining through an inch of curtain, and crossing the room, filled the off television screen with a huge radiant eight pointed star.. which had been my meditation symbol for focusing on, during meditation.. and I later found this star is the "star of bethlehem" you know, pictured with the three wise men at Christmass time (astrologers by the way).. ..then when my son was 16 (ten years ago) he asked me two questions which again made my life flop upside down! My understanding wasn't too bad, before then.. but I wasn't happy with my answers.. so prayed.. and wow, the answers that came back. I'll only give three or four words, as i've typed quite enough:))rationality/free-will; the god is Life, and Perfection.. it is impossible for the 'end' result to be anything less than the absolute best possibility.. More than 4 words! :))

I do believe in God, and I believe in Him because I have seen his power and felt his healing. I have seen him in my dreams and in other people. I feel him around me at every moment of every day.

I do believe in God with great optimism. I know God and He knows me. He is ever living God Almighty. I dont need to see Him before I belive in Him. The fact I am living today, eating and doing everything am doing today is a great reason to believe in God and thank Him for everything He's done for me. If you don't believe in Him, better do so before the judgement comes on you.
