Is this the best comeback by any Indian Sportsperson? Out in the cold after being dumped by the coach and selectors, dada kept going and now is back at his rightful place at the top of the batting order. The ad of pepsi "Bhoole tho nahi" seems to show that fighting spirit of Dada. I just hope he caps this comeback with a world cup triumph where in he claims the man-of-the-match at the finals :) Cheers! Ram

Sourav is my ideal pioneer. Believe me, I remember dada in distress, in fatigue and in break-down. Dada's comeback inspires me all the day and round the night...

Honestly speaking I never liked Dada all along, definitely he was a performer, a good captain and a good leader. But I detested his attitude, his impulsiveness (remember the way he took off shirt in Lords after a historical win?), his so called selfishness(remeber the snail speed in scoring once his score pasts 45 or 95) ....But hey may be I was wrong! was too short sighted!! He is actually one class apart!! It is not cricketing ability i am referring to (Only a fool will doubt his talent...remember the effortless sixes he hits over midwicket?. It is his fighting abilty and wonderfully positive attitude toward life. One day he was the national captain...hitting sixes & fours with massives scores against likes of Akram, Waqar, Warnes, Murulis, next day he was struggling in lowly West bengal Ranji team, facing all sort of obnoxious cricket board officials. Bang !!...still he came back...What a come back it was. I do not believe any body can be better eaxample for positive attitude towards life, from current generation of Indians. He is now an idol for me and I guess he deserves to be so for all young indians. I SALUTE him and wish him all the best for the world cup. And given his current form, he will surely set the carribean islands into blaze and be a big success story in the world cup 2007.
