Should Presidents have anything to do with war at all?

I was wondering... Should presidents of our countries get involved in the war at all? They just say a few words and then poof off goes the war. I don't think that Bush should have anything to do with the Iraq war becuase all he portrays is choas. Whatdo you think? Should Presidents rather keep their mouths shut when we go to war?

As president, they're Commander In Chief of the military. They're the top of the chain of command. I think that Congress needs to shut up and let the President do his job, and let the people in the war fight the war. Soldiers overseas need support, not backstabbing politicians bickering over what mistakes were made by who. Leave the fighting to the generals, and keep the politicians out of stuff that they know nothing about.
