Whats with Neopets?

I was collecting avatars for a while but when I got the Adam I lost a little interst in the site. With 12 million NP and an SDB with over 50,000 items it seems like there's nothing else to conquer at the site. I still go every day and get my interest (well over 4,200 NP a day) and restock but I don't go to the message boards any more. What got me hooked? Seeing my shop emptied and stocking up on the half price days!

I'm a member of neopets and i'm a newbie.I gotta ask you something about.What else can you do on neopets besides collecting NPs and playing games?Can you get cash by doing something? And what is meant by stocking the shop? Please help!

I have been a member for about 2 years. My daughter got me started on it. She used to be hooked herself, until her pc broke down. No more Neopets. I love to shop, it feeds my need to do it in real life (somewhat). I also like to do auctions and stock my shoppe. My favorite games are pyramids, web of vernax, destructo match, typing terror, and whack a staff member. I am elusivebutterfly on Neopets too.

Since I joined mylot I haven't been to neopets as much as I used to. I still do my dailies just about every day. I once had a nice shop but now I have a lot of junk. I spent lots of time at the garage sale. I like the plots sometimes. I don't battle very much. My favorite games are pyramids,destructo match and snow muncher. I have almost 6 million neopoints in the bank and I am trying to get that Adam avatar. By the way, I am an adult and I am brendalee6485 on there if you ever want to say hi.

My sister got me hooked years ago, I still go on it to pass the times with the games. I collect petpets on it, my gallery is full of em. So feel free to donate your unwanted petpets to me =P all welcome! lol

AAAAh...Destructo Match and Suteks Tomb. My whole addiction started with those two games. I also keep a shop... read any and all books I can buy to my pet, and play tons of games. We don't do battles that often. I do put him through the training school though. I like the dessert.

I've been playing neopets since college and now that I already have a 2 year old son he's beginning to like the games too. I try to keep my shop full of items but there comes a time when I don't want to sell any of my stuff and just keep them in my SDB, yeah I'm a packrat sometimes. My favorite place will be Faerieland it's so beautiful there, I could've bought a home there but like the venue the price is astronomical. I'm thinking of building a gallery full of junk hehehe I mean Island Merchandise items, no one ever bus these and I don't know what the use of these items either. And oh I almost forgot I already have 2 stamps, yay! My pet picked them up while exploring the World of Neopia.

I joined Neopets a long time ago after reading about it in a book called Websites for Kids. Interestingly enough, my kids had mentioned it about a month before but we never went to look at it. So after reading about it in the book I went to the website and we all joined. At first I was all over the place. Now I primarily use my 3 pets for certain things. Well sort of. 1 pet I give all the books to. One pet is my battle pet, and the other one is just there cause he's kind of cool. Sadly I keep zapping my battle pet so he's all over the scale in stats. Even had him at kick butt level for battling but the poor thing was only a level 1 pet! Very interesting!

I got started playing it years ago with my kids. I started training one of my pets to battle, then I stopped doing that, now I'm into reading books to another one of my pets. I've also started collecting varies items to put in my gallery. Lately though I've slacked off on restocking my shop or playing games. Which I need to get back into doing if I'm going to keep reading books to my pet...those get mighty expensive!

I also have an account I made for my nieces. They were 3 and 5 at the time, now they r 4 and 6. I wanted to make them an account before they really understood how to ise the computer so when they are old enough to get on neopets they would already have a nice amount of points. So i spend a lot amount of time building up their account worth. (Its hard when Im tryin to get myself a bunch of petpets loL)

I love neopets coz there's just a lot of things to do... You can build and design, decorate your own neohome, earn through shops restocking, play neogames, collect whatever you want for your gallery, do stocks, hoin guilds which may offer more activities, you can read or write for the neopian times, post in the neoboards and a lot lot more so you will never get bored... Me, I love it because I get to have more friends through the guild and I am currently working on my petpet gallery and is saving for a baby pantbrush... :)
