I use the computerized dictionary coz it's fast, convenient and pronunciations of words are also provided. Moreover it's light and handy. Do you use one or both?

I am still using ordinary dictionary, coz i havent installed any e-dict yet on my computer. But most of the time, if my PC is connected to the internet, i will visit www.webster.com to check for difficult words. That's a nice one, you can try it out in future.

I do not use computerized dictionary; I prefer my Oxford Pocket dictionary more. I always carry it with me and consult that whenever I need to check for something ( Spelling/Meaning).

My browser has spell checker that I can add words too so I mainly use a computerized dictionary now. Though if I was reading away from the computer I would probably use a normal dictionary. In fact thinking about it I don't think I even have one now it's so easy to just look up words on the internet I haven't needed one for years.

I tend to use the online dictionary as I am using the computer or my laptop all the time. Furthermore, it is more convenient, you just enter the word and you get the meaning in an instant, you get the synonyms, antonyms, whether a verb, adjective, and so on. I hardly use the dictionary book anymore.

Hi sophylline, I am very glad to have you drop by here. Happy and prosperous new year, my friend. Hope that I am not late and in time to send this greeting to you as the year now is still fresh and young. Presently, I encounter problem of posting, so it takes me a lot of time to post here daily. I can say I could try by luck and chance only. That’s why I missed the opportunity to congratulate you when you had reached the target of the 500th post as I couldn’t send out my post for the congratulation by then, though I tried very hard to do so. Yeah, when using the computer, I just do exactly as what you have done. I am afraid that our dictionary book might become an antique one day, lol.

Thanks for your kind and warm concern. The problem neither due to computer nor internet but it is most probably due to the mylot website. This is what the computer technician had told me. Yeah, this problem happened since I came back from Bali on the 2nd of December last year. My friends could receive my posts only by luck and by chance. I try very hard to post responses and comments to friends. Who ever lucky will then receive them. It may sound rather funny but it is true. Just now it seems that I could post out few items quite smoothly. I hope this could persist on. Hi dear sophylline, I hope you enjoy mylotting as much as the earlier days. I do hope that the new year will bring much goodness to you and me, and also all other mylot friends here.

Hello Ikbooi, my friend. Yeah, it is seldom now that I hear from you, but then again I am also not as very active as I once was. I have gathered about your condition when you have replied to one of my posts, but am kind of unclear about the specific problem. Is the problem on your computer or the internet provider? That's a shame. I hope you will get this problem fixed. It has been quite sometime, isn't it? Anyway, thank you so much for your fresh and warm greeting! I appreciate this and really hope that this new year will bring a lot more goodness in all aspect of my life and also hope that for you my dear friend! More happiness and prosperity. Thank you dear for your support and conratulation for my reaching my target, it is very appreciated. I really do hope you can post again as easily as before.

I use the computerized dictionary when I'm online. But when my PC is off, I use traditional dictionary - it happens quite rarely now. It's easier to use computerized dictionary than ordinary one. It takes less time to look for the word.

I don't use the ordinary dictionary any more. I put them to the drawer and bookselves. In fact I think looking up from the ordinary dictionary is still better, but right now I prefer to the speed much more. I like to look up a new word via the net or a software.

True, most people nowadays do keep the ordinary dictionaries in the drawers and book selves for good and seldom use them as to use them is rather time consuming.

Hi dear mnvamsi, so it is a bit inconvenient for you that you have to bring the ordinary dictionary to attending the lectures. Anyhow it is very much lighter than a laptop.

i dont have a computerized dictionary although im thinking of having one so wherever i am i could just browse it and viola! but i admit i still like the old fashioned dictionary especially when im writing stuff. it still feels good when you scroll your fingers on the smelly old book of yours.. ^-^

Hi hillock, I know everyone got his own liking and you prefer using the traditional dictionary because you are addicted to its accumulated unique smell. Since you do like the electronic one, why not you try to get one? As I know you got one generous sponsor. You know whom the one I refer to lol

Your cousin is the generous person I am referring. Still remember what you had said in one of my discussion topics about com? Hi friend, you have to take great care of the dictionary gifted by your beloved grandpa. I consider it as a love rather than an ordinary dictionary only, so cherish it.

do you mind refreshing as to this sponsor of mine? LOL! why i still prefer those old dictionary because i got one that my grandfather had given me way back a decade ago. it smells differently but it has a sentimental value so the smell is bearable! ^-^

I use my old dictionary ,I do not have any computer with me all the time and my PC is not on always. So I still rely on my handy dandy Dictionary book. Though computerized dictionary is very convenient I still refuse to drop out from my comfort zone ,when i was online and I still in webster, and browsing i use on line dictionary, that I can search words too so I mainly use a computerized dictionary now. Though if I was reading away from the computer I would probably use a normal dictionary. In fact thinking about it I don't think I even have one now it's so easy to just look up words on the internet .
